SHS students will soon require testimonial for university admission – MoE

The Education Minister, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum says Senior Secondary School graduates looking to feathur their schooling at the tertiary level will before long be approached to give a testimonial to be given tertiary admission.
On October 5, 2024, the Education Minister, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, spoke at the Ghana Educator Prize. He said that the presentation of the testimonial is part of the government’s effort to control the rising incidence of student violence in secondary schools.

Answering requires the twofold track framework to be suspended in second-cycle schools, the Training Pastor said measures had been set up for 70% of schools to run single-track when first-year understudies start school.
Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum said public Senior Secondary Schools including Opoku Product Senior Secondary School and Adisadel School are on course to change from the green and gold (twofold) track framework to a solitary track framework.
